AnimeOnDVD.com is reporting that people who received the early copy of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Vol. 4 DVD are reporting that a teaser, which shows a Haruhi-parody footage from the TV series Lucky Star, and indicates that the series is now licensed by Kadowkawa USA and Bandai Entertainment will distribute it. The footage can be seen on youtube, but the news is not confirmed yet by both Kadowkawa USA and Bandai Entertainment.

Geneon has sent out a ltter to its retial customers today that it will cease all DVD sales and distributions as of December 31, 2007. Also of interest, the last call for ordering from Geneon is on this Friday, September 28. After the failed agreement between Geneon and ADV Films, many has spectulated Geneon will restructure itself into a license holder, much like Kadokawa USA. It remains to be seen what will happen to their existing licenses and catalogue.
