People should really avoid these kinds of inflated as hell priced figures so companies like Alter can come back to reality. A few years ago these figures were 50-70 bucks. If there sales are down, they'll be forced to drop these outrageous SRP's. There's absolutely no excuse for price tags like these on plastic figures.

The real crime will be if prices do not go down once 3D printing of these figures becomes commonplace. The cost to make them will go down radically with this technology, but I bet retail prices will stay high. Otaku are nothing if not easy to exploit due to our attachment to the characters.

I agree with Xcal and trxtl . More detailed works are an arm and a leg and H or even just topless figures defies all reason in pricing. With that said , Sora looks simply scrumptious but unless I miraculously get a salary increase I'll be passing on this in favor of others ...

Do you understand what the terms inflation and currency devaluation
mean? I think many people will stand to gain better understanding
if they were forced to take Econ 101 at their high school. Figures are
considered art (collectibles) and thus are not subjected to the same
valuation as a My Little Pony toy or a Star Wars action figure.
