Description

This is a posable action figure of a character from science-fiction/anime.

Introducing the Takaya-Style Articulated Figurine featuring the iconic Kerberos Saga Protect Gear, under the masterful sculpting direction of the renowned artist Takayuki Takeya!

This meticulously crafted figurine pays homage to the fictional history of the enigmatic black hounds. The design is inspired by the armor featured in Takaya's rendition of the radio drama "Kerberos: Hound of Steel", which portrays the 101st Armored Reconnaissance Division, an elite unit directly under the dictator during World War II. After the dictator's assassination, this division was dispatched to the Eastern Front as a symbol of his tyranny.

The focal point of this masterpiece is the 34-Year Special Reinforced Armor, a precursor to various Protect Armors that would emerge in later chapters of the Kerberos Saga. This Western-inspired suit combines detailed armor with chainmail underneath, allowing for full articulation while maintaining an unbroken appearance, even during dynamic poses like crouching and aiming. Slide gimmicks on the armor parts ensure a seamless fit and freedom of movement.

The elongated mask, reminiscent of a dog's snout, features the iconic red eyes of Protect Armors, recreated with clear parts to capture their distinctive look.

Armament: This figurine comes equipped with an MG34 Heavy Machine Gun and a Mauser C96 Pistol. The MG34 boasts a unique style with a forward grip attached to the gun mount under the barrel, and its tip-mounted bipod can be replicated using included interchangeable parts. The backpack, designed to store the hard case and MG34's drum magazine, features precision detailing.

The black armor is meticulously colored with a semi-gloss finish, faithfully replicating the texture of rugged steel. Weathering effects in shades of red rust enhance both the details and the overall character, adding a touch of grit.

Embrace this exceptional figurine, meticulously crafted under the artistic guidance of Takayuki Takeya.
