Summary:
Year A.C. 196. With the war between Earth and its colonies ended a year ago, the former Gundam pilots decided to retire their Gundams by sending them to the sun. However, their retirement is cut short, with Relena Darlian, now the deputy minister of the Earth Sphere Unified Nation, is kidnapped by a new radical group led by Marimeia Khushrenada - daughter of the late Treize Khushrenada. With the defenseless Earth now taken over by the radicals, it is time for Heero and his comrades to pilot their Gundams for one final battle!

The three-chapter OVA was adapted into a movie version known as 新機動戦記ガンダムW Endless Waltz 特別篇, along with new footage. Bandai Entertainment released two versions: one with the movie only and the other with both the OVA and the movie.
